Dubai Forget blue aliens — the next trend in 3D is checked trenchcoats. In an unprecedented move, British fashion label Burberry will stream its upcoming London fashion show live in 3D at exclusive events around the world — including one in Dubai.

On February 23, Burberry will transmit a live 3D broadcast of their autumn-winter 2010 womenswear collection from the runway to Dubai, Paris, Tokyo, New York and Los Angeles.

The screening “will enable people to experience the energy and atmosphere of this event from around the world,” said Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey. “3D technology will bring our global audience into the London show space allowing them…to be a part of that moment.”
